Message from Fr. John Kalantzis
Beloved in Christ,
With our lease option expiring within the next 10 years, it's vital that our community, and our neighboring brothers
and sisters, do all it can to raise the funds and complete the project in a timely manner in order to continue our service
in Christ. It is no small undertaking to establish a new church. It takes many years of planning and a focused
commitment to take up this blessed cause. Through your sacrifice, you are truly doing the work of the Lord. Jesus
commanded His believers to follow Him in self-sacrifice: "And when He had called the people to Him, with His disciples
also, He said to them, ‘Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me'"
(Mark 8:34).
Whether God has blessed your family to be a "Contributor"
or "Arch-Contributor", your contributions should reflect the blessings that God has bestowed upon you - "For
everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask
the more." (Luke 12:48)
In the Old Testament, God told Abraham
that He would bless him in order that he in turn would bless others. That same call has been delivered to us as Christians
today. I ask that you prayerfully consider your situation and make a commitment to His Church!
- "unto
the glory and praise of God" - Philippians 1:11
Your servant in the Lord Jesus Christ,
Fr.
John Kalantzis
