What are Memorial and Naming Gift Opportunities?

Memorial and Naming Gifts are specific items or areas of the church and its facilities possessing religious, devotional, or functional significance, which serve to observe a donor's special intention.  Donors have an opportunity to memorialize or commemorate specific items and areas within the plans for the new church, social hall and classrooms.

How will Memorial and Naming Gifts be recognized?

Memorial Gift donors will be recognized on an attractive display located in the new church or social hall, depending upon where the specific gift will be located.  Naming Gift donors will be recognized on a personal individual display located near or within the area named.

Do the suggested gift amounts for Memorial and Naming gift opportunities represent their actual cost?

No, the suggested amount of a memorial or naming opportunity is determined in consideration of the privilege of designation and to finance the building projects and site improvements.  Every parishioner will have an opportunity to select a memorial.  In so doing, you permit the church to raise the funds necessary to build the new church, social hall and classrooms.

How does a donor reserve a Memorial or Naming Gift?

If you so desire, you can simply select a Memorial or Naming item that corresponds with the pledge amount you wish to donate.  Memorials are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.  They are designated only once in the program.  Once a memorial has been reserved, it is no longer available.  The way to reserve a Memorial or Naming gift is to do the following:

1.     Select a Memorial or Naming item from the list below

2.     To reserve the item, call the Parish Office at 703-421-7515

3.     Fill out the pledge form and return it in the reply envelope by mail or simply bring it to church and give it to a Parish Council member.

• Hall Name - $1,000,000
• Greek School Name and Office - $500,000
• Gymnasium Name - $250,000
• Kitchen Name - $250,000
• Bookstore Name - $100,000
• Conference Room Name - $100,000
• Priest's Office Name - $100,000
• Catechetical School Office Name - $100,000
• Classrooms (x 12) - $50,000
